 Selection Process


  1. Shortlisting of Candidates:

    • Based on JEE Main 2024 All India Rank (AIR).
    • Higher ranks in JEE Main will have a better chance of being shortlisted.
  2. SSB Interview:

    • Shortlisted candidates are called for a Services Selection Board (SSB) interview.
    • The interview is conducted in two stages:
      • Stage I: Screening Test, including Intelligence Test and Picture Perception and Discussion Test (PPDT).
      • Stage II: Psychological Tests, Group Testing Officer Tasks (GTO), and Personal Interview.
  3. Medical Examination:

    • Pattern completion, figure matrices, odd one out, mirror images.

2. Psychological Tests:

  • Thematic Apperception Test (TAT): Write stories based on pictures shown.
  • Word Association Test (WAT): Respond with a sentence for given words.
  • Situation Reaction Test (SRT): Write responses to situational problems.
  • Self-Description Test (SDT): Write about personal strengths, weaknesses, and aspirations.

3. Group Tasks (GTO):

  • Group Discussion (GD) on current topics.
  • Outdoor tasks like Progressive Group Task (PGT), Group Planning Exercise (GPE), and Command Task.

4. Personal Interview:

  • Questions on academics, family, hobbies, achievements, and general awareness.
