Marking, Language & OMR Rules
- Question Type: MCQs with four options. Select only one option.
- Section Scoring Formula: Section Marks = (Correct Answers × Marks per question) ÷ Total Questions in Section.
- Multiple marks on one item: If more than one option is darkened for a question, it is treated as wrong.
- Language: All sections are bilingual (Hindi/English) except General Hindi which is in Hindi only. In case of any discrepancy, the English version prevails.
- OMR Instructions: Use Black/Blue ball-point pen only; avoid stray marks, folds or damage. OMRs are scanned for evaluation.
- Answer Key: Provisional key will be uploaded; candidates may submit objections within the prescribed window.
- Normalization: Applied for multi-shift exams as per board policy to equalize difficulty levels.

Section 1 — General Hindi
- Language & Grammar Basics: Hindi alphabet, sandhi, samas, synonyms/antonyms, idioms & proverbs, one-word substitutions, sentence correction.
- Parts of Speech & Usage: noun, pronoun, adjective, verb, tense, voice, gender, number, case, conjunction, etc.; figures of speech, poetry & prose forms.
- Literature Awareness: notable authors, poets and their famous works; awards in Hindi literature.
- Miscellaneous: lokoktiyan, muhavare, alankaar, ras, chhand, samas-vibhaj, etc.
Section 2 — Basic Law / Constitution / General Knowledge
- Core Laws: BNS (Indian Penal Code – new), BNSS (Criminal Procedure – new), protection laws for women/children/weaker sections, traffic rules, environment & wildlife protection, human rights, RTI, income-tax basics, prevention of corruption, national security, cyber laws, juvenile justice, important court judgments, land & revenue acts.
- Indian Constitution: aims & objectives, fundamental rights & duties, directive principles, parliamentary system, union/state structure, powers of legislature-executive-judiciary, major amendments, special provisions for states.
- General Knowledge & Current Affairs: history & freedom movement, geography & environment, Indian economy & planning, agriculture & natural resources, national/international organizations, science & tech (IT, space, defence), sports, culture, art & literature, awards & honors.

Selection Process (Stage-wise)
- Written Examination (OMR objective; bilingual except Hindi section).
- PST – Physical Standard Test (height, chest, etc. as notified).
- PET – Physical Efficiency Test (race and other events as per board norms).
- Document Verification and Medical Examination.
